As a protest to corporate security "experts" who suggest to their employers that they not allow, or try to make it unpleasant, to take photos of their buildings, there is no new photo with this blog post. With everyone with a cell phone able to snap a discrete photo of anything at any time, how does stopping photographers with cameras add security? How does taking a photo with a camera affect security, or anything at all? I recently visited Dallas and was so disappointed that the approach to the use of cameras downtown, it is "frowned upon," as one guard described why I had to stop taking pictures. What if we lived in a country where photography was outlawed? Security experts would be out of work. Or maybe just imagining other useless programs.
